Little League Rules of Conduct

Hello Stamford Little League Families!

We hope everyone is having a great season so far and the kids are enjoying baseball with friends.  We all hope the rainy weather is behind us and warmer days ahead.  We are at that time of year when we need to remind everyone of some of the rules of conduct and that this is little league.  Parents please remember these are kids and they are playing for their own enjoyment and for no one else.

  • Please respect decisions made by umpires, league officials, managers and coaches (everyone is doing their very best).
  • Support teams in a positive manner and refrain from shouting instructions, criticizing players, coaches or umpires (this will not be tolerated).
  • Refrain from making derogatory comments or gestures to players, coaches, umpires, league officials, volunteers or other spectators.  Parents and Spectators will not enter the field of play at any time.

These rules are for the safety of everyone and we appreciate your cooperation.

PARKING NOTES:

Some fields have parking rules.  Please follow them.

Vine Road

  • If you are visiting the field on Vine Road do not park in the driveway to the field.  It is dangerous for the kids running around.  Your car can get damaged by foul balls.  That parking is for managers, umpires and league officials that might need to make a delivery to the snack bar or the press box.  Do not park on Brandywine as you will get a parking ticket.

West Beach

  • At West Beach fields - do not park on the grass.  If you have a beach pass you are good, if not we will be handing out sport passes to place in your car.  These are only good for parking during games.

Dolan Middle School

  • Do not park in the Fire Zones along either side of the driveway at Dolan or you will get a ticket.  There are events that go on in the school in addition to using their fields, and the driveway cannot be blocked. The parking lot is a very short distance from the field.

The season is off to a great start!  Summer registration for the various programs will be opening up soon so keep an eye out.

Thank you for all the volunteering and helping with the snack bars.

See you at the field!

Michael Noto & Jim Lash
